TERMS OF SERVICE

IcyMusic
Last updated: 10 September 2026

OVERVIEW

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of IcyMusic, including our website, online courses, course materials, accounts, digital content and related services (collectively, the “Services”). IcyMusic is operated by LeoLogistics OÜ, registry code 17157533, Tallinn, Estonia (“IcyMusic”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing or enrolling in a course, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to any policies expressly incorporated by reference, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not purchase, access or use the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

SECTION 1 - ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT TERMS

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to purchase a course on your own behalf. If you are not, a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase or otherwise provide any consent required by law.

You are responsible for providing accurate, current and complete account information and for keeping your login credentials confidential.

Your account is personal to you. You may not share, sell, transfer or provide your login credentials or course access to another person unless we expressly permit it in writing.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where caused by our own breach or by circumstances for which applicable law makes us responsible.

You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

SECTION 2 - THE ICYMUSIC COURSE AND SERVICE

IcyMusic provides self-paced online DJ education. Course descriptions, included lessons, demonstrated equipment or software, learning outcomes, access terms and other product information are described on the relevant sales or course page at the time of purchase.

The current course may demonstrate DJ techniques using Pioneer/AlphaTheta-compatible equipment and Rekordbox. Core concepts may transfer to other setups, but we do not guarantee identical functionality, terminology or compatibility with every controller, device or software version.

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining the hardware, software, internet connection and other equipment reasonably necessary to access and practise the course.

Third-party software and hardware providers may update, change or discontinue their products. We may update course material to reflect such changes, but we do not guarantee that every lesson will always match the latest third-party interface or hardware revision.

The Services are educational. We do not guarantee professional DJ employment, gigs, income, audience growth, career outcomes or any particular level of performance.

SECTION 3 - ORDERS, PRICING AND PAYMENT

Prices are shown on the applicable sales or checkout page and may be displayed in a local or selected currency.

Unless stated otherwise, courses are sold as one-time purchases and do not create a recurring subscription.

Applicable taxes may be added, included or calculated at checkout depending on your location and the payment setup used.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers made available through Thinkific or other payment methods displayed at checkout. We generally do not store your complete payment-card details.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information and authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the amount shown at checkout.

We may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, payment error, duplicate transactions, abuse, legal restrictions or an obvious pricing error. If we cancel a paid order and no lawful basis exists to retain the payment, the applicable amount will be refunded.

SECTION 4 - 14-DAY REFUND POLICY AND CONSUMER WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS

In addition to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you, IcyMusic offers a voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee for course purchases. You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of your purchase by emailing [email protected] and identifying the purchase/account concerned.

If a valid request is made within the 14-day guarantee period, we will refund the applicable course price using the original payment method where reasonably possible. Payment-processing times after a refund is issued depend on the relevant payment provider and financial institution.

For consumers in the European Union or European Economic Area, distance contracts may also carry a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. For digital content supplied immediately, applicable law may allow the statutory withdrawal right to be lost once supply begins if the consumer has given prior express consent to immediate performance and expressly acknowledged the loss of that statutory right. Where we request such consent, it will be obtained separately at or before checkout as required by law.

Our voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee is separate from, and does not reduce, any mandatory statutory rights or remedies you may have for non-conforming, faulty or undelivered digital content or services.

We may refuse a refund request only where there is a lawful basis to do so, for example in cases of demonstrable fraud, payment reversal abuse or where the request falls outside both our voluntary guarantee and any applicable mandatory consumer right.

SECTION 5 - COURSE ACCESS AND “LIFETIME ACCESS”

Where a course is advertised with “lifetime access”, this means that after a valid purchase you receive ongoing access to that purchased course without recurring course-access fees, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

Because digital services depend on hosting platforms, software, infrastructure and business operations, “lifetime access” does not mean that a particular website, platform, file format or technical delivery method will exist forever. If we need to materially change or discontinue a course or its delivery method, we will act reasonably and in accordance with applicable consumer law. Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice and any remedies to which affected consumers are entitled.

We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, including unauthorized sharing, copying, resale or unlawful use of course materials. Any such action will be proportionate to the circumstances and will not limit mandatory consumer rights.

SECTION 6 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND PERSONAL LICENSE

Unless otherwise stated, the Services and course materials - including videos, lesson text, graphics, branding, worksheets, downloads, course structure, audio, images and other original content - are owned by or licensed to IcyMusic and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

When you purchase a course, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to access and use the course materials for your own private educational purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, distribute, sell, sublicense, rent, publicly display, publicly perform or commercially exploit course materials except where expressly permitted by law or by us in writing.

You may not share course videos, downloads, access links or account credentials with others.

You may not record, scrape, systematically download or extract substantial portions of the course for redistribution, resale, dataset creation, competing training products or other unauthorized purposes.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of IcyMusic intellectual property to you.

SECTION 7 - ACCEPTABLE USE AND PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You must not use the Services to:

violate applicable law or the rights of another person;

infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality or other rights;

upload or transmit malware, harmful code or material intended to disrupt the Services;

attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, technical restrictions or security measures;

gain unauthorized access to another user’s account or to systems connected to the Services;

use automated tools to scrape, copy or extract course or website content in a manner that is not permitted by law or by us in writing;

impersonate another person or submit deliberately false or misleading account or payment information;

resell, redistribute or commercially exploit access to the Services without our prior written authorization.

SECTION 8 - USER CONTENT, COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK

If the Services allow you to submit comments, messages, feedback or other content (“User Content”), you remain responsible for that content and must have the rights necessary to submit it.

User Content must not be unlawful, infringing, defamatory, threatening, abusive, fraudulent, obscene or designed to interfere with the Services.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce and display User Content only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, moderate and provide the Services, unless you separately agree to broader promotional use.

If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions or feedback about IcyMusic, we may use that feedback to improve our products and services without an obligation to compensate you, provided we do not use your personal identity for promotion without an appropriate legal basis or permission.

We may remove or restrict User Content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law or protect third-party rights.

SECTION 9 - THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM, TOOLS AND LINKS

Our courses are hosted and delivered using Thinkific and may rely on third-party services such as payment processors, email providers, analytics services, advertising platforms and software or hardware referenced in the course.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to the third party’s own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, products or services that we do not own or control, except to the extent that applicable law makes us responsible.

A reference or link to a third-party product or website does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.

SECTION 10 - PRIVACY

Our processing of personal data is described in the IcyMusic Privacy Policy available on our website. The Privacy Policy forms part of the legal information governing your use of the Services.

SECTION 11 - SERVICE AVAILABILITY, UPDATES AND CHANGES

We may update, improve or modify course content, lesson order, website design, features and technical delivery methods from time to time.

We may perform maintenance or experience temporary interruptions caused by hosting providers, software, networks, security issues or events outside our reasonable control.

Where a change to paid digital content or a digital service materially and negatively affects access or use, we will respect any notice, termination, price-reduction or other rights that mandatory consumer law gives you.

We will not materially remove the core value of a purchased course merely to avoid our obligations to existing customers.

SECTION 12 - ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

We aim to keep website and course information accurate and useful. However, DJ software, hardware, music platforms and industry practices change over time, and some technical details may become outdated. We may correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions and update descriptions where reasonably necessary.

Nothing in this section permits us to misrepresent material product information or avoid mandatory consumer-law obligations.

SECTION 13 - WARRANTIES AND DIGITAL CONTENT CONFORMITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted or free from every technical error, or that every learner will achieve the same educational outcome.

However, nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory statutory guarantees or remedies. Where applicable EU consumer law applies, digital content and digital services must conform to the contract, and consumers may have rights to have a problem brought into conformity, receive an appropriate price reduction, terminate the contract and/or receive a refund in circumstances provided by law.

SECTION 14 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or mandatory consumer rights.

Subject to the preceding paragraph and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IcyMusic and LeoLogistics OÜ will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for losses arising from third-party products, software, hardware, platforms or services outside our reasonable control.

If you use the Services for business or professional purposes rather than as a consumer, and applicable law permits such a limitation, our aggregate liability arising out of a particular paid course will not exceed the amount you paid to us for that course during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

SECTION 15 - SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, security risk, unlawful activity, material infringement of intellectual property, unauthorized account sharing, chargeback abuse or a serious or repeated breach of these Terms.

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may provide notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach before termination.

Termination does not affect rights and obligations that arose before termination, and provisions that by their nature should survive - including intellectual-property, payment, liability and dispute provisions - will continue to apply.

Any suspension or termination will remain subject to mandatory consumer rights.

SECTION 16 - GOVERNING LAW AND CONSUMER DISPUTES

These Terms and contracts with IcyMusic are governed by the laws of Estonia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions that apply to you under the law of your country of habitual residence.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or European Economic Area, nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory protections or access to courts or dispute-resolution mechanisms available under applicable consumer law.

Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue directly.

SECTION 17 - FORCE MAJEURE

We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as widespread internet or hosting outages, natural disasters, war, governmental action, cyber incidents affecting third-party infrastructure, or failure of essential external services, provided that this does not limit rights that mandatory consumer law grants you.

SECTION 18 - SEVERABILITY AND NO WAIVER

If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted or, where necessary, severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

A failure or delay by us to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

SECTION 19 - ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the applicable course or sales page, checkout information and any other terms expressly presented as part of your purchase, constitute the agreement between you and us regarding the Services.

If a specific written offer or checkout term conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific term will apply to that purchase to the extent permitted by law.

SECTION 20 - CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, business practices or legal requirements. The current version will be posted on our website with an updated “Last updated” date.

Changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights or mandatory consumer protections. If a material change affects an ongoing paid digital service in a way that applicable law requires us to notify you about, we will provide the required notice.
